What is speech Separation?

What is sound separation?
Audio Source Separation is the process of separating a mixture (e.g. a pop band recording) into isolated sounds from individual sources (e.g. just the lead vocals).
When should you use stereo separation?
Stereo separation is used in editing with different objectives, being mostly creating a sorrounding feeling to what is being listened. There are different techniques, the first one being one sound going through the left speaker and not the right speaker, or difference in the volume level between these two.
What is separation in Hifi?
WHAT IT TELLS US. This is a measure of separation between the signal channels, with stereo, two of them. Ideally signal will not leak from one channel into the other. If it did to the extent that the channels fully mixed then the result would be mono sound.
Should I stereo separate vocals?

The separation between a player’s stereo channels—often referred to by its reciprocal, the interchannel crosstalk—is a measurement of how well the left and right channels are isolated from one another. The lower the crosstalk—or, put another way, the greater the channel separation—the better.
How do I know if my speakers are damaged?
A blown speaker can have damage that can be heard with some mechanical movement. If you gently tap on the cone of the speaker it should have a firm drum like sound. If you hear a rattling sound (like a loose snare drum), this is an indicator of a bad speaker.
