What is SPP ble?
The Bluegiga SPP-over-BLE profile enables two devices to connect and exchange data. The profile provides a reliable and transparent way to send data from each device’s UART (or USB) interface over Bluetooth low energy connection to a collector device.

Does ble support SPP?
Because Bluetooth Low Energy does not have a standard SPP service, it needs to be implemented as a custom service. The custom service is as minimal as possible. Only one characteristic is used for both incoming and outgoing data.

I have made sure my Bluetooth dongle and the remote device supports SPP profile. My remote-device (Bluetooth Serial adapter) will always be acting as Bluetooth SPP slave. I want to establish Serial-SPP-connection with my remote-device (Bluetooth Serial adapter).
What do I need to know about Bluetooth serial port?
