What is texture scale?
Often you will need to change how rapidly a texture or material is repeated over a surface. This is referred to as texture scaling, or sometimes as UV-scaling. Suppose you have a material where the texture is too ‘stretched-out’. In the ‘Texture’ section, change the horizontal width to a smaller value, such as 0.3 m.
How do I scale to a specific size in blender?
To scale uniformly with precise absolute dimensions, in the Properties Area of the 3D View just type in the exact absolute dimension you require on the single desired axis. Now check the resulting scaling on that axis, Blender will have calculated the appropriate factor for that vector.

What’s the best way to scale a texture?
Sadly, that texture is often scaled incorrectly. While it is possible to edit the UVs to make it all look handsome, there is an easier way for us to scale textures, namely by adding a Mapping Node into the shader. Here’s how it worked for me. In the Node Editor, add a Mapping Node (SHIFT+A, then find it under Vector).
How can I reduce the size of a texture?
To decrease the texture size, increase the Scale Values on the Mapping Node. If this inverse law of doing things is freaking you out, switch the Mapping Node over from Point to Texture.
How can I increase the size of an image?
Right click on the image and select “Print” or press the menu button (three dots) and select “Print”. Under “More settings” select “Custom” next to “Scale” as shown in the red circle circle below. Increase or decrease the scale. Finally, press “Print”.
