What is the capability of sharing using manager Groups feature?
Manager Groups come as a feature that would save a lot of administrative overhead trying to recreate a role hierarchy to closely match the user reporting hierarchy. It allows a record to be shared with direct and indirect managers of a user, as well as direct and indirect reportees of a user.
For each role in your hierarchy, Salesforce automatically creates sharing groups, which you can use in sharing rules and manual sharing: Role—users in the role plus users in roles above it in the hierarchy. Role and Subordinates—users in the role plus users in roles above and below it in the hierarchy.
What makes a team an owner of a record?
A group team can own one or more records. To make a team an owner of the record, you must assign the record to the team. While teams provide access to a group of users, you must still associate individual users with security roles that grant the privileges that they need to create, update, or delete user-owned records.
Can you share a record with multiple access teams?
You can share a record with several access teams, each team providing different access rights on the record. For example, one team is granted the Read access right on the account and another team, the Read, Write and Share access rights on the same account.
When a record is shared to a group, Salesforce doesn’t create a sharing record in the object share table for each of the group’s members. Instead, it creates a single sharing record for the group in the object share table. The object share table and group membership tables are then used together when a user requests access to a particular record.
How does a case manager work with a client?
The case manager uses this time to gather demographic information about the client, identify any immediate needs, and establish trust and build a relationship. This first interaction is helpful for a case manager to determine if a client would benefit from the services your organization offers.
