What is the difference between NAD83 and NAD83 CSRS?
NAD83(CSRS) is compatible with GPS and has been endorsed by the Canadian Council of Geomatics. NAD83(Original) was realized using Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) and theodolite observations whereas NAD83(CSRS) was realized using GPS observations. There are decimeter level differences between the two realizations.
