What is the difference between open closed filtered and unfiltered ports?
Closed ports have no application listening on them, though they could open up at any time. Ports are classified as unfiltered when they are responsive to Nmap’s probes, but Nmap cannot determine whether they are open or closed.

Is there a way to bypass firewall restrictions?
FIN scan is one such technique. In the section called “ACK Scan”, SYN and ACK scans were run against a machine named Para. The SYN scan showed only two open ports, perhaps due to firewall restrictions. Meanwhile, the ACK scan is unable to recognize open ports from closed ones.
How can I bypass the nmap port number?
Nmap offers the -g and –source-port options (they are equivalent) to exploit these weaknesses. Simply provide a port number, and Nmap will send packets from that port where possible. Nmap must use different port numbers for certain OS detection tests to work properly.
