What is the sampling rate in LTE?
Table 2
| Property | LTE | 5Gto10G |
|---|---|---|
| Sampling frequency [MHz] | 30.72 | 122.88 |
| FFT size | 2048 | 1024 |
| Subcarrier spacing [kHz] | 15 | 120 |
| Occupied subcarriers | 1201 | 938 |
What is subcarrier bandwidth in LTE?
Each subcarrier is able to carry data at a maximum rate of 15 ksps (kilosymbols per second). This gives a 20 MHz bandwidth system a raw symbol rate of 18 Msps. In turn this is able to provide a raw data rate of 108 Mbps as each symbol using 64QAM is able to represent six bits.
What are the names of the 4G LTE frequency bands?
TDD LTE frequency band allocations E-UTRA Band Duplex- Mode ƒ (MHz) Common name Included in (subset of) Band 1 FDD 2100 IMT 65 2 FDD 1900 PCS blocks A-F 25 3 FDD 1800 DCS 4 FDD 1700 AWS blocks A-F (AWS-1) 66
Why are TDD LTE bands used in closed networks?
The TDD LTE bands are unpaired because the uplink and downlink share the same frequency, being time multiplexed. TDD LTE is popular in ISP and closed networks where there is either predominantly Data-centric use (rather than voice), no legacy of 2G/3G, or pressure on limited spectrum available.
What’s the difference between sampling frequency and resource block?
For example 512 point FFT case, bandwidth is 5MHz, sampling frequency is 7.68MHz and number of resource blocks are 25. Please check our page on LTE Terminology for description of these terms. Where are the unpaired bands in the LTE network?
LTE Band 33: This was one of the bands defined for unpaired spectrum in Rel 99 of the 3GPP specifications. LTE Band 34: This was one of the bands defined for unpaired spectrum in Rel 99 of the 3GPP specifications. LTE Band 38: This band is in the centre band spacing between the uplink and downlink pairs of LTE band 7.
