What is the three texture?
This document covers the three musical textures we will encounter in our studies: monophony, polyphony, and homophony. Texture is an element you will use when identifying pieces from all the periods of music history so you’ll want to study this material very carefully.
What is uv THREE js?
UV mapping is a method for taking a 2-dimensional texture and mapping it onto a 3-dimensional geometry. Imagine a 2D coordinate system on top of the texture, with (0,0) in the bottom left and (1,1) in the top right.
What is texture in THREE js?
Textures have settings for repeating, offseting, and rotating a texture. By default textures in three. js do not repeat. To set whether or not a texture repeats there are 2 properties, wrapS for horizontal wrapping and wrapT for vertical wrapping.
How do you know if the musical texture is polyphonic?
If more than one independent melody is occurring at the same time, the music is polyphonic. Rounds, canons, and fugues are all polyphonic. (Even if there is only one melody, if different people are singing or playing it at different times, the parts sound independent.)
Is homophonic texture thick or thin?
In all, texture can help us appreciate the intricacies in a piece of music. Thin-textured, or monophonic music, is purely melody, while the more thickly-textured homophony and polyphony include accompaniment or complementary melodies, respectively.

How to properly load textures in Three.js?

How to make texture size not be affected by size?
That’s what most likely causes the distortion. How can make the size of the texture not be affected by the size of the polygon it’s on? If the image is 128×128, it should still be 128×128 on the terrain. EDIT: Is it possible to use pixel coordinates instead of UV?
How to render text in canvas in JavaScript?
The most promising method I’ve seen to accomplish this is to render the text in a blank canvas with CSS, use that canvas as a texture which ThreeJS makes very easy, and then apply that texture to a plane that I can place wherever in the 3d environment.
