What torque should oil filter be?
On aircraft oil filters the torque to put the filter on is printed on the filter. Typically 27 ft lbs. This would be a handy rule of thumb for medium and larger car filters.

I don’t recall ever seeing torque mentioned, because the filter housing relies on the rubber o-ring seal rather than mechanical tightness to seal in the oil.
