Where do I find the fpath setting in zsh?
Normally these directories would be in the default fpath setting built into the zsh executable, it’s strange that you would need to add them. I don’t see any code in zsh-newuser-install that would add these lines; it looks like something your site administrator or you wrote.
Where do I put a function in zsh?
There is (once again) a bit of configuration required to get this working. Instead of declaring the function directly the configuration file, you can put the function in a separate file. zsh has a built-in variable called fpath which is an array of paths where zsh will look for files defining a function.
Can you use aliases and functions in zsh?
As with aliases, functions in your zsh configuration will work just as they did in bash. This code in your zsh configuration file will define the vnc function and make it available in the shell. However, zsh has some features which make using functions more flexible. There is (once again) a bit of configuration required to get this working.
What happens to the members of the path class?
Most members of the Path class do not interact with the file system and do not verify the existence of the file specified by a path string. Path class members that modify a path string, such as ChangeExtension, have no effect on names of files in the file system.
Can a path class be called without a path?
All members of the Path class are static and can therefore be called without having an instance of a path. Note. In members that accept a path as an input string, that path must be well-formed or an exception is raised.
When does getfullpath throw an argumentexception in.net?
On .NET Framework and .NET Core versions older than 2.1: All Path members that take a path as an argument throw an ArgumentException if they detect invalid path characters. On .NET Core 2.1 and later versions: GetFullPath is the only member that throws an ArgumentException if the string contains invalid path characters.
