Where do my Microsoft teams recordings go?
Teams Recording are always stored in the Microsoft Stream Platform. You can always view the recording from the Meeting Channel Space.

For non-channel meetings, the recording is stored in the Recordings folder under My files. For channel meetings, the recording is stored in the Teams site documentation library in the Recordings folder in SharePoint. Are Teams meetings automatically recorded?
The recording will automatically begin as soon as the first participant joins the meeting, and it will be up to the organizers to turn on this feature for a single meeting or a series of meetings. Once enabled, all Teams meetings will be recorded automatically until the organizer decides to disable this option.
How long does it take for Teams recording to be available?
Access to the meeting recording file will expire after 21 days. Meeting recordings will be available in the meeting chat for a period of 21 days after the meeting. After 21 days, the meeting recordings will no longer be available for download from the chat.

Contact your ID admin and make sure the recording feature is enabled in Meeting Policies. In other words, ensure the recording option is enabled as an org-wide policy. To do this, navigate to Teams Admin Center → Meetings → Meeting policies. Enable cloud recordings.
