When you press the one on the right, it is called a right click. By default, the left button is the main mouse button, and is used for common tasks such as selecting objects and double-clicking. The right mouse button is often used to open contextual menus, which are pop-up menus that change depending where you click.
Click all the buttons on your mouse and check if they light up on the mouse illustration. Point your mouse cursor at the mouse illustration and then spin the scroll wheel on your mouse up and down. Check if the arrows on the illustration also light up.
Why do I have to click my mouse 3 times?
This is unneeded bloatware. Adjust the mouse settings in Settings > Devices > Mouse, checking all settings including the Additonal Mouse Options box – check Settings on all tabs. Report back all results for possible other things to try.

Verify the product or receiver is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch or something similar. Unpair/repair or disconnect/reconnect hardware.
Yeah, if there’s any part in front of the Surface Gui, it won’t respond at all. Doesn’t matter whether it’s invisible, CanCollide false, etc… Deleted the offending part and it worked – though the part was behind the SurfaceGui (again, only by 0.01 studs).
