The workaround we usually suggest: Instead of adding products to your catalogue, add the categories instead. This way, each time you add/upload a product, just set its category and it will appear in the catalogue because the category is already there.

How to see out of stock products on shop?
This is standard woocommerce functionality, it shows “out of stock” products on the shop page, in the woocommerce widgets, everywhere. Only on the product single is “Out of stock” shown instead of an “Add to cart”. Go to Woocommerce → Settings and click the Products tab Click the Inventory link at the top
Is the ultimate product catalog plugin not available?
