Before you can send your users out on their mobile adventure, they need a map to point the way to their destination. The Salesforce app navigation menu is that map. And it’s up to you to draw it for them. Help your mobile users get work done faster and more easily by configuring which items appear in the navigation menu and in which order.
How to approve or reject items in Salesforce?
Users can tap an approval item and approve or reject it from within Salesforce. Available in Salesforce for iOS and mobile web. Appears for organizations that have enabled a canvas app to appear in the navigation menu. The user’s main feed. Appears for organizations that have Chatter enabled.
Is there a smart search option in Salesforce for Android?
Smart Search Items is required for users to get search results in the Salesforce for Android. Users of the Salesforce for iOS and the Salesforce mobile web are able to search for records if this option is omitted from the navigation menu.
How long does it take for objects to appear in Salesforce App?
If the user doesn’t have access or permissions to the Lightning App, they also see a default set of objects until the user’s most frequently used objects are determined. It can take up to 15 days for the objects that users work with regularly in both the Salesforce app and the full Salesforce site to appear in the Recent section.
If you customize the Mobile Only navigation menu, make sure the four most important items are at the top. These four items also conveniently appear in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, unless your users switch to a Lightning app. Users can keep using these navigation items in the Mobile Only app.
This is where users can access all the objects, apps, and items available to them. There are two navigation experiences: one for users who’ve logged in to the new mobile app for the first time, and one for users who’ve switched to a Lightning app using the mobile App Launcher.
