Why does approval flow not update approval status?
Issue 1: The Approvals action doesn’t interact with the built-in approval column at all. That’s why you have to use a seperate step, Set content Approval status, to change it at the ned of the Flow.
The Submit action works but when the action is set to Approve or Reject, the Flow runs without any errors but the Approval Status doesn’t change to the Approved. If by “add Checkout” you mean that you added a new Outcome than you should know that is not a acceptable value for the Content Approval status which only accepts Approved, Rejected, or Pending. Check-Out is an automatic state, but is unrelated to Approval of content.
