Why does Blender keep saying not responding?
In most cases, the broken or outdated graphics driver is the main culprit behind the Blender crashing issues. If you haven’t updated your graphics driver for a long time, or if the graphics driver file is broken or corrupted, you may suffer from the program crashing, stuttering, and even screen flickering issues.
Why does Blender hang?
It can be a copy of the blender shortcut which is in the start menu (Start -> find blender -> right click -> copy, then right click on desktop -> paste). If your path to blender.exe is different, adjust accordingly. If you username is different than Blender, also change it.
What does it mean when your Blender freezes?
It starts with Blender freezing, then five seconds later my mouse will freeze, my keyboard will freeze, and then I have to press the reset/power button on my computer. This happens regardless of what file I am working on or working on a new file. I have no idea what is causing this.

Now work on your Blender file if you see the memory getting filled all the way, your system then starts to write on the hard drive, and causing the lag. If this is the case then you need to upgrade your PC memory.

I have tried uninstalling blender completely and just using the zipped versions with no official version installed and they still crashed as well. If all versions of Blender (e.g. installer and zip versions) are crashing on one OS (windows) but not for another (linux) then you’ve pretty much narrowed the issue down to graphic card drivers.
Is there a lag in the official Blender?
