Why does the text look blurry in Unity?
I think everyone knows the issue with unity where the text isn’t sharp enough and looks blurry, usually to fix that you would grow the font size and then reduce the scale of the object, or vice versa (I think it also worked), but I can’t figure out how to do that correctly with the new UI, any tips? Are there any problems with textrendering in Unity?
There have been problems with textrendering for a long time, and I think Unity needs to rewrite the current system. Of course there are other solutions as well, TextMeshPro looks good for example (it uses distance-field fonts). But overall, some tlc for better textrendering across devices and resolutions would be very appreciated.
Why is my text not sharp in Unity?
If that doesn’t help, open the example project and create a text object with the same settings as the one in your project (font, size, etc.). If it’s sharp there but not in your real project, there’s probably something wrong in your project settings (don’t know what exactly).
Which is better coherent UI or unity bindings?
Coherent UI is probably the best option around, and is supposed to have Unity bindings, but is rather expensive. Googling reveals that the Unity Asset Store has a few cheaper options available.
Why is my textmesh pro text is blurry?
Blurriness / or overly sharp text is usually related to SDF Scaling. Incorrect scaling can happen when the text object’s scale is not uniform or when switching the Canvas from Overlay to Screen Space Camera. In most cases, changing any properties of the text object and most certainly point size will resolve that.
Is there a way to make UI Text less blurry?
Ui text is really blurry. When I made some text in Unity for a title screen (Under the Ui) and scaled it to 5 it got really blurry. Is there a way to make it less blurrier?
