Why is my blender animation so laggy?
Make sure you are viewing the scene in Solid mode, it’s typically faster than all the other mode, including wireframe. If you are using physics simulations like particles or cloth, make sure they are baked. Otherwise, Blender will try to recalculate them every time you switch frames.
Why is my Photoshop animation so slow?
If Photoshop was running well earlier, but has recently become slow, reset preferences. Add scratch disks for Photoshop’s use (Preferences > Scratch Disks). Under Preferences > 3D, lower the value of the Available VRAM For 3D setting to 80%. If the issue persists, try the steps listed in Optimize Photoshop performance.
How is the 3D viewport in blender so slow?
The viewport is so slow that it takes nearly 3 seconds just to change the current frame or select an object. I don’t actually attempt to play the animation in the viewport anymore, but when I do it gets less than 5 fps in wireframe mode. I’ve looked at several threads about making the 3d viewport faster, but none of them seem to be helping much.
Why is zooming / panning in locked viewport slow?
I am having trouble zooming/panning locked viewports in paperspace. When I try to do that, the entire interface becomes very slow, and the viewport itself starts blinking (the [+] [Top] [ [2D Wireframe], the WCS, and the viewport boundary all start blinking). It happens across all drawings regardless of file size.
How to speed up viewport FPS to play in?
It was running 60fps at the beginning but has decreased to 40fps oiver time. nothing has been added or removed from the scene so i cannot understand why every time i come back to work on my file it becomes slower.
Why is it important to replay the viewport?
Due to the nature of this animation, being able to replay the viewport back in realtime is very important as i must see the timing and motion of objects.
