Why is my Sentinel 1 image not calibrated?
I am working with a Sentinel 1 SLC IW image (VV+VH) and trying to calibrate the data in the SNAP toolbox. However, it keeps returning the error “cannot construct data buffer” Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? to e.g. java_max_mem: 6G A recommended value is 70%-80% of the available RAM in your system.

What do I need to know about the Sentinel toolbox?
This tutorial will guide you through the basics of using SAR products with the toolbox. The tutorial covers calibration, multilooking, speckle filtering, and terrain correction of SAR data products.
How to process Sentinel-1 SAR images using SNAP?
Go to Radar -> Speckle Filtering -> Single Product Speckle Filter. The last step is to orthorectify the images. Go to Radar -> Geometric -> Ellipsoid Correction -> Geolocation-Grid.
