How do I export and import Google sites?
Instructions
- Go to Google Drive and create a top-level My Drive folder to export the site from.
- Move or add the new Google Site you want to export to the top-level folder created for the export (alternatively you can add the site to multiple folders – see Add a site to multiple Google Drive folders)
Can Google Sites be exported?
You can export and download your data from Google Drive, which includes items from Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Sites, Drive, Forms, and Jamboard. You can create an archive to keep for your records or use the data in another service. You can download files that haven’t been deleted.

Once you’re on the right page, locate the vertical ellipsis button (three dots aligned vertically) in the upper-right corner of the window and click on it. In the menu that pops up, select “Print.” A print window will open. In the drop-down menu labeled “Destination,” select “Save as PDF.”
How do I copy a Google site from one account to another?
Once you are logged in, open the site and click the More Actions –> Manage Site options. Select the General option. At the bottom of the screen in the Site Actions Section there is now an option to Copy this Site.

Google Sites are saved as files in Google Drive. To restore your site, you’ll have to restore it from Google Drive.
