How do you add user stories to Sprints?
To add a user story into the sprint, scroll through the page to locate the story. Then, press on it and drag it to the list on the right hand side to add it into the sprint. If you want to add multiple stories into the sprint, check them and click Add checked user stories to sprint.
Can a user story be assigned to more than one person?
The short answer is that you cannot assign an issue to more than one person.
How do I assign a Jira ticket to multiple users?

- Go to Jira Administration > Issues > Custom Fields.
- Press “Add Custom Field”
- Search and select “User Picker (multiple users)” – it’s in the Advanced fields section, so just select “All” before searching for it.
- Give the field a name and press Create.
- Assign the field to the relevant Screen(s) for your projects.
Can we add multiple assignees in Jira?
You cannot assign one issue to multiple assignees. It is an impossible thing to do in Jira. Because this is against the principle of how Jira operates. If you assign one issue to multiple people, the responsibility of the issue will be vague and not clear.

Why are small user stories important in agile?
Throughput: Small stories allow testers to begin testing sooner in the sprint, and work on smaller chunks of code. Reduced Risk: Large stories increase the risk that the team will not deliver anything at the end of the sprint that is 100% done. Team capacity is like a funnel.
How to handle one item over multiple sprints?
Not sure how to handle this one. I moved into a new team and normally would break something that goes over multiple sprints into smaller items that can be accomplished in a two week sprint. Some team members are resources for other project teams and are involved in the design phase.
How many user stories should you have per iteration?
I’ve heard some coaches recommend “3-6 user stories per iteration per developer”. That’s a bad rule of thumb. For a team of 7 developers you would have over 20-40 user stories which is likely way too many. It also subtly takes the focus off of swarming and puts attention toward a developer per story.
