What happens when you turn off reply updates on YouTube?
Notifications are currently off and you won’t receive updates. To turn them on, go to Notifications preferences on your Profile page.
What does muting on YouTube do?
If you mute a post, you won’t receive notifications about new comments anymore, while muting a circle prevents that its post are published on your stream’s home page. A muted user can still see posts that you make and post comments on them as well.
How can you tell who commented on YouTube?
Click “History” and visit each video to find comments. Use the Video Comments feature in the Account section to find personal comments that have received a reply. Click on the list of replies and the video link in each reply to see the videos. Search the comments for the user’s username to find comments.
